David F. Beckel, 40, of 939 S. 16th St., died yesterday.
He worked for Sutliff Chevrolet Co. and was a 1971 graduate of John Harris High School.
Surviving are a companion, Kass Heckard of Highspire; his former wife, Cathy Beckel of York; two sons, Jonathan M. and Steven L., both of York; his parents, Charles N. and Harriet B. Beckel of Harrisburg; a sister, Ann Folmar of Highspire; and a niece.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in Knight Funeral Home, Highspire. Burial will be in Askey Cemetery, Snow Shoe, at 2 p.m. Thursday.
Viewing will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter's Luthern Church, 240 Broad St., Highspire 17034.
