Funeral services were held Sunday, September 21, 2008 at Saulters-Moore Funeral Home Chapel in Prentiss, MS for Mr. Edwin E. Kiser, age 76, of Biloxi, MS, who died September 19, 2008 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS. Rev. Ben James officiated. Interment followed in Prentiss Cemetery, Prentiss, MS.
Pallbearers were Jimmy Polk, Clint Langley, Bill Langley, David Bullock, Donald Broome, and Raymond Carter. Honorary Bearers were Ernie Langley and Billy Langley.
Edwin Elton Kiser was born May 3, 1932 in Texas. He was the son of Harvey and Lillian Penn Kiser. He was a retired riverboat captain for 37 years and had served in the US Air Force for 4 years.
He is survived by his wife, Agnas Kiser of Natchez, MS, a daughter, Theresa Gail Carter of Biloxi, MS, two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.


Note... children of Eds wife, Carolyn, had Eds name and datevput on headstone next to hers in the Natchez City Cemetary. His body is not buried there thou.

Gravesite Details

Ed was buried with first wife and will not be in the Natchez Cemetery in plot with Agnas (Carolyn) Kiser. Headstone was made years before his passing and will have to be changed by Agnas.
