Jay Douglas Albaugh 42 of rural Frankfort, died unexpectedly at 10:04 p.m. September 18, 2010 at St. Vincent Frankfort Hospital.
He was born December 8, 1967 in Frankfort, IN to Larry & Sharon (Wethington) Albaugh. He married Kristal Sullivan in 2000 and they later divorced.
He is survived by his mother, Sharon Ann Albaugh of rural Frankfort; a brother, Dan (Tami) Albaugh, and their children; Ben, Dane and Jacob of Lafayette; a sister, Jennifer (Jerry) Long, and her children: Brooks, Reese and Hanna of Ladoga; a grandmother Jo Donoho of Frankfort; three Aunts, Vicki Albaugh of Frankfort, Martha (George) Sigler of Mechanicsburg and Kathy (John) Cross of Elizaville; three Uncles, Van Albaugh, Tim (Connie) Albaugh both of Frankfort and Dan (Sue) Lamar of Lebanon
He was preceded in death by his father Larry on December 11, 1997; grandparents, Felix and Adell Wethington; Robert Albaugh, and Charles Donoho; aunt, Connie Lamar, uncle, Danny Wethington and niece, Danielle Albaugh.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, September 23, 2010 at Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort.

He was a 1986 graduate of Southmont High School. He lived in Frankfort from 1967 to 1979, in Crawfordsville from 1979 to 1986, and returned to Frankfort in 1986.
He married Kristal Sullivan in 2000 and they later divorced.
Mr. Albaugh was an automobile body repair technician and worked for American Body Shop in Frankfort. He also worked for several years with his father and brother at Albaugh's Body Shop in Frankfort.
He was a member of the Eagles Lodge, was a NASCAR fan, and enjoyed fishing.
Surviving with his mother are a brother, Dan Albaugh (wife: Tami) of Lafayette; and a sister, Jennifer Long (husband: Jerry) of Ladoga.
Services are Thursday in Lebanon.
