Funeral services for Charles Leroy Adamson, 68, of Springfield will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday at Rich Funeral Home Chapel here. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery at Lamar.

Adamson died Oct. 29. 1978, at Southeast Colorado Hospital here. He was born in 1910 in Hartman and came to Springfield in 1928. He married Nellie Orr in Lamar on May 15, 1930. After working at Springfield Motor Co., the local Ford dealership, several years , he became owner and operated the firm until his retirement in 1977. He was a member of First Baptist Church; Lodge 158, AF&AM; Order of Eastern Star; Lions Club and was degree master of Southern Colorado Consistory.

Surviving are his wife; a daughter Mrs. Charlene Patterson of Springfield; a sister, a brother, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
