Frances M. Blankis, 84, passed away on Sept. 16, 2010. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother and sister. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Rudy; daughters, Theresa (Brian) Duskey, Mary Ann (David) Garcia, Connie Blankis (Odilia Leal-McIntyre); grandchildren, Adam and Katie Garcia, Jennifer and Kimberly Duskey, Kyle and Kellen McIntyre; great-grandchildren, Alison and Rory McIntyre. Frances retired in the 1980s from the U.S. Forest Service. She loved gardening and was a member of the Shrine of St. Therese Catholic Church. Rosary, 7 p.m. Sunday; funeral Mass, 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 20, 2010, both at Shrine of St. Therese Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Imperial Memorial Gardens. Special thanks to Life Care Center of Pueblo and Dr. Drake for their care and kindness to Frances. Donations may be made in Frances' memory to the Foundation for Ichthyosis, 1364 Welsh Road G2, North Wales, PA 19454. At the family's request, please omit food. Arrangements by T.G.
