Frances Berrong White, of #409 South Pheasant Run, Rome, (Saddle Mountain) died Wednesday afternoon, December 17th, 2008 at a local hospital.

A native of Gordon County, Georgia, Frances was the daughter of the late Claude E. and Gertrude Talley Fuller. Frances had spent the greater part of her life in Floyd County and was a Care Giver, was associated with Wheeler's Men's Wear and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Shorter Avenue Baptist Church and was preceded in death by a son, Rocky Berrong, a grandson, Christopher Dale Carter, 3 sisters, Betty Fuller, Ida Bell and Nancy Baggett and a brother, Max Fuller.

Survivors include her husband, Wayne, 2 daughters, Janice Adcock of Adairsville and Christy Berrong Carter of Rome; 2 sons and a daughter-in-law, Steve Berrong and Scott and Tammy Berrong all of Rome; 5 grandchildren, Sherry Turner, Jason Adcock, Josh, Carrie and Trudy Berrong, several great-grandchildren also survive as do a sister, Linda Stinchcomb of Powder Springs, GA. and a brother, Dan Fuller of Griffin, GA.; special care givers, Diana Burger, Angie Mitchell and Linda Moore. Nieces and nephews also survive.

A celebration of Frances Berrong White's life will be held on Sunday afternoon, December 21st, 2008 at 2 o'clock from the Parkview Chapel of Fred Talley's Funeral Home with the Rev. Tony Cargle and the Rev. Jackie Culberson officiating. Interment will follow in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.

Active pallbearers include, Jason Adcock, Josh Berrong, Bob Buckley, Chris Wells, Gene Gilbreath, Mitch Bell, Malcolm and Fred Talley.

Frances Berrong White will remain at Fred Talley's Parkview Chapel where the family will receive friends this (Saturday) evening from 6 until 9 o'clock. At other hours they will be at the residence.

Fred Talley and the staff of Fred Talley's Parkview Chapel Funeral Home is serving the family of Frances Berrong White.
