Mrs. Matilda Payne, a well known and highly respected lady living near Plattsburg, died at her residence Monday afternoon at 1 o'clock, of indigestion. The deceased was 75 years of age, and was born at or near Marietta, Ohio. She came to this county about thirty-six years ago, where she has since resided.
She was a widow, having 10 children, all of whom are living in western states and will not be able to attend the funeral.
The services will be held at the church at Plattsburg today (Wednesday) at 3 p.m.. Interment will be made at Plattsburg at 4 o'clock.
