Theodore Herbert Kerner, 72, of 8 Beckenwood Drive, Youngsville, PA. died Wednesday afternoon, September 15, 2010 at his residence.
He was born September 6, 1938 in Ridgway, PA. to the late Leo and Caroline DeGroat Kerner.
He was formerly of Gulf Breeze, FL. Theodore had served over 20 years with the United States Navy and was a officer with the Central Intelligence Agency for 13 years.
He is survived by his wife, Dolores Donahue Kerner whom he married January 1, 1980 in Lake Tahoe, CA., four children Bambi Wilde of Clear Lake, CA., Tina Pringle of Upper Lake, CA., Leslie Mims of Sunnyvale, CA., Stacey Kerner of Santa Clara, CA., two brothers William and Robert Kerner both of Warren, PA., five gandchildren and two greatgrandchildren.
He is also survived by his step children Diane Arnett of Bradford, Pa. Kim Foster and Mark Kerner of Warren, Pa.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son Theodore Herbert Kerner, Jr., one granddaughter Lisa and a grandson, Michael.
A private funeral service will be conducted at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA. The Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., Warren, PA. is in charge of funeral arrangements.
