David Coggin served in the Army Air Corp from 1947 - 1957. He was stationed in Okinawa & Panama.

He & Donna were married 02 Feb 1951 at Pittsburg, Contra Costa County, CA at the church on Camp Stoneman (Pittsburg, CA which is no longer in existance).

They were blessed with five children in their marriage.

Once out of the military they made their home for most of their lived in Antioch, Contra Costa Co., CA.

They moved to Mokelumne Hill around 1990.

He died of a massive heart attack. He was having chest pains & called his brother-in-law, Ed Cavalli, for help. Ed & his son, Skip, took him to the hospital in San Andreas, CA, where he later died of a massive heart attack.

His memorial service was held in San Andreas, CA & burial was at Amador Memorial Cemetery, Pioneer, CA.
