DELBERT JEAN ALLEN
Delbert Jean, infant son of Edwin and Vera Allen, was born July 1, 1924, and departed this life the same day, only living two and a half hours. Everything was done that could be done to save this dear little child, but we do not understand some of the Divine planning, we only hear our dear Lord saying in Matthew 9:13-15 "Suffer little children to come unto me; for such is the kingdom of heaven."
Little Delbert's body was taken by the kind, loving hands of relatives and friends to the Chariton cemetery Wednesday morning, July 2, where a short service was held at the graveside by Rev. Myrtle Wolfe.
