Dwight - James Arthur Townsend, 85, died last Tuesday in St. Petersberg, Fla. He was a former Dwight resident.
His cremated remains were brought to the Baker Funeral Home where arrangements for services are pending.
Mr. Townsend married Miss Grace Brown who died in 1951. He was a mining engineer. He and his wife moved to Florida in 1948.
Former President Herbert Hoover, a first cousin, is the only survivor.

Dwight - Services for James Arthur Townsend, former Dwight resident who died June 2 in St. Petersberg, Fla., will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Oak Lawn Cemetery.
Mr. Townsend's ashes are being sent here for burial.
The Rev. George Davies will conduct the service.
