Anastacia Blum, 93, of 105 Elm St., Spring Valley died at 5 p.m. March 24, 2006 in Spring Valley Nursing Center.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in Barto Funeral Home, Spring Valley, with a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, with the Rev. Edward Kopec officiating. Burial will be at Valley Memorial Park.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Monday in Barto Funeral Home.
Mrs. Blum was born June 18, 1912, in Spring Valley to Joseph and Mary (Shaffer) Kassul. She married Carl H. Blum on March 31, 1940, in St. Anne's Rectory in Spring Valley.
She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and the Altar and Rosary Society of the church.
Survivors are her husband, Carl Blum of Spring Valley; one daughter, Eileen (Jon) Parks of Elgin; three sons, Carl Lyle (Jeannette) Blum of Temple City, CA, Kenneth (Nancy) Blum of Lorraine and Les (Erin) Blum of Grafton, WI; 16 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; and one sister, Della Kassul of Spring Valley.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
