Sellie Clark Thompson was born 15 Nov. 1900 in Persimmon, Rabun County, Georgia. She was the daughter of Oscar Clark and Algenora Chastain Clark. She married Joseph Luther Thompson in 1921 in Rabun County, GA. They left Rabun Co. and moved to Marble about 1831. Sellie died due to complications following childbirth in Sept. 1936. Luther and the children returned to Rabun County after her death.
