James D Jones died at his home, 409 East Northampton street. Cause of death was asthma. He was born in Wales and came to this country fifty-three years ago and worked most of his life as a miner. He is survived by his wife, Rachel, and the following children: Mary (Mrs Sidney R) Lyons, of Forty Fort; Mrs Harry Shaeffer, of Easton; David C Jones, of West Virginia; Blanche (Mrs Wayne A) Newman, Margaret, Thomas A and Morgan Jones, all of Wilkes-Barre. The funeral was held from the family home with interment in Hollenback cemetery.
