Waymeth was born in Independence, Kan. on July 26, 1942, the daughter of the late Jacob Aquiller and Thelma Lenora (Cadwell) Miller.

She was reared and educated in Columbus, Kan. until age 9 and then moved to Morehead, Kan. She was a 1960 graduate of Thayer High School, Thayer, Kan. and attended Pittsburg State College at Pittsburg, Kan. She moved to Whitestown in Boone County in 1961, and a few months later moved to Lebanon. She had moved to Boone County to help care for a sister, Jen West.

She married James Carl Ferguson on Jan. 6, 1973 in Indianapolis. He died on Sept. 1, 1988.

In Indianapolis, she worked for several insurance companies. For 22 years, she was a policy change specialist and supervisor at Wabash Life Insurance Company. She was an office manager in the Joe Krutche agency in Brownsburg for six years. She last was an employee of Conseco until she retired in 2002. Following her retirement, she moved to Swayzee.

She was a woman mainly devoted to her family and church. As a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother she enjoyed her family. She liked reading, embroidery, computer games, talking on the phone and going to church.

Waymeth was a member of the Swayzee Church of the Nazarene, formerly active in the Lebanon Church of the Nazarene and recently had attended the Faith Baptist Church in Marion.

Survivors include three children, Lynetta D. Bentley and husband Rick, Lebanon, Jamie Jo Kenyon and husband Vaughn, Swayzee, and Jennifer L. Ferguson, Swayzee; daughter by choice, Marlyssa Agado, Gas City; brother, Dewayne A. Miller and wife Becky, Joplin, Mo.; two sisters, Isabell Fought and husband George, Dennis, Kan., and Charlott N. Cruse, Cherryvale, Kan.; grandchildren, Ricky Jo Ferguson Jr. and wife Tracy, Greenwood, and Davian A. Agado, Gas City; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and four special friends, Betty Clark, Sue Spears, Elaine Kinsler and Sharon Vann, all from Lebanon.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jacob A. and Thelma L. Miller; her husband, James C. Ferguson and two sisters, Jen West and Donna L. Miller.
