Born October 10, 1914, in Nesmith, he was the son of the late Benjamin Nelson Stuckey and Elizabeth Vermelle Stuckey.
Mr. Stuckey graduated from Indiantown High School in 1931 and was class valedictorian.
He was a farmer by trade and a life-long member of Indiantown Presbyterian Church where he served as deacon, elder, and trustee. Mr. Stuckey also was a trustee for the Indiantown schools for many years.
Mr. Stuckey was predeceased by his wife of 59 years, Dorothy Johnson Stuckey and his daughter, Marian S. Marsh. Survivors include two daughters, Mary S. Lamb Davy of Kingstree, and Lou Frances S. Gardner of Hartsville; son, Ben Stuckey, Jr. (Peggy) of Chapin, SC; sister Elizabeth Tyler of Kingstree; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Interment was in Indiantown Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
