Harry married Lucetta Margaret (Dugan) Coleman (18 Oct 1853 - 20 Sept 1921) on 18 Oct 1871.

Obituary 10 Sept 1901 edition of the Martinsburg Statesman -

"Mr. Harry Coleman, a well known resident of the county, died at his home at the edge of Frankenberry town Saturday morning from injuries received while climbing over a fence last Thursday evening. He was in the fifty-second year of his age.

While in the act of climbing over a board fence in his yard on Thursday of last week Mr. Coleman slipped and fell; his stomach sinking on the sharp edge of a protruding board. The wound inflicted was very painful. As a result of it inflammation of the stomach set in and caused his death. The deceased was born in Franklin county, Pa. He came to this county when he was a boy and had been living here ever since. For sometime he drove the wagon of the Standard Oil Company, but lately he has been living a retired life.

A widow, who was formerly Miss Etta Dugan, and the following children survive him: Mrs. Lucas, Mrs. Dutow, Mrs. S. H. Powell, Mrs. F. V. Powell, Henry R., Bertha L., Margaret Coleman, this county, and John Coleman of Newport News, Va."
