Willie Mae Brown
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon from Sleigo Presbyterian Church for Willie Mae Brown, 67, of Route 1, Prentiss, who died Monday night at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg. Dr. French W. Tripp officiated. Interment followed in the Lone Star Cemetery with Saulters-Moore Funeral Home in charge.
Pallbearers were Travis Cates, Cecil Easterling, Vondell Harrison, Evans Miller, John Miller and Tommy Coulter.
Mrs. Brown was a native and longtime resident of Covington County, daughter of the late Newton and Leona Graves Harrison. She was a member of Sleigo Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include two sons, Vinson Brown, Jimmy Dale Brown both of Prentiss; one brother, N H. Harrison of Collins; two sisters, Mrs. Dan (Dovie) Easterling of Collins; Mrs. Althea Helms of Slidell, Louisiana.
