Chadwick – Mrs. Chester (Mabel) Alexander of Chadwick died this morning in Freeport Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.
Born March 21, 1901, in Chadwick, she was the daughter of Andrew and Emma (Schleuning) Miller. She was married to Chester Alexander Nov. 16, 1918.
Surviving are a son, Vernon, and a daughter, Mrs. Russell (Florence) Queckboerner, both of Chadwick; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Hazel Dambman of Hemet, Calif., and Mrs. Elwin (Ruby) Allison of Sterling. Her husband, a sister, and two great-grandchildren preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Chadwick Community Church. The Rev. N.C. Andresen, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Chadwick Cemetery.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Frank Funeral Home, Chadwick.
