Mr. Applestill died May 1 in an automobile collision on U.S. 26 near the Mill Creek Canyon Bridge. He was 31. He was born Feb. 6, 1962, in Portland. He had worked for Brod-McClung Clean Pak for about five years.
Survivors include his wife, Rowena, and his son, Jack Jr., both of Beaverton; his mother, Sharon Kukoricza of Portland; his father and stepmother, Jack and Sue Applestill of Portland; his sisters, Shennun Braun and Suzie Kukorizca, both of Portland; his brother, Jerry of Clackamas; and his stepbrother, Terry Bailey of Portland.
