Thomas William Breeden of New Hope, died Monday morning at the King's Daughters' Hospital at seven-fifteen o’clock after a short illness.
Mr. Breeden, a resident of the New Hope community for a number of years, was a member of the Middle River Church of the Brethren.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Daisy Ann Breeden of New Hope; three daughters; Miss Margaret Ann Breeden of Staunton; Miss Beulah Gertrude of Staunton, and Miss Hallie Mae Breeden, New Hope; four sons, Herring Thomas Breeden, Staunton; James Calvin Breeden, Howard Whitfield Breeden, and John Henry Breeden, New Hope; three sisters, Miss Mollie Breeden, Staunton; Mrs. Rebecca Aldhizer, New Hope; Mrs. Tillie Hoover, Verona; one brother, Charles Breeden, Washington, DC.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at two o’clock at the Middle River Church of the Brethren, the Rev. B. B. Garber officiating.
Active pallbearers will be Jacob Coffman, Glenn Johnson, Ottie Wilberger, Walter Scrogham, Y. M. C. Almarode, and Homer Harlow.
Burial in the adjoining cemetery.
The body will repose at the Lindsey Funeral Home until eleven o’clock Tuesday morning when it will be taken to the home near New Hope.
