She was the daughter of the late Woodrow Shetley and Dorothy J. Johnson Smith... She was a graduate of Union High School and was a member of Lower Fairforest Baptist Church.. Carole retired as office manager of First Choice Check Advance and had formerly worked in textiles... Surviving are a sister Annie S. Robinson of Union; a brother James T.Shetley and wife Helen of Jonesville,SC;five nephews, Pete,Earl,Gene and Dennis Shetley all of Union,and Jamie Shetley of Jonesville; and several great nieces and nephews...Carole was predeceased by one sister, Brenda Shetley and a nephew, Walter Shetley... Memorial services will be helt Friday Sept.10,2010 at the SR Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Jerry Lawson..Visitation will be helt immediately following the service...
