CANTON WOMAN IS DEAD AFTER EXTENDED ILLNESS
Mrs. Mary Ann Hitchcock, 64, of 615 West Chestnut street, died early this morning at her home after an illness of several years with heart trouble. She had resided in Canton for 62 years.
Born in Maqon, Ill., Jan. 1, 1873, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Hoggett, she was married July 26, 1898 in Farmington to Arthur Hitchcock, who survives. Children are Richard and Everett Hitchcock and William Baxter.
A brother and sister are Richard Hoggett, Esterville, Iowa, and Mrs. Emma Barnett, Peoria. There are eight grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete. Friends may call at the Gerard funeral home.
