Graveside services for Marie Adams, 89, Rusk, are scheduled for 3 p.m. Friday in Earthman Resthaven Cemetery, Houston, under direction of Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, Rusk.
Mrs. Adams died Aug. 30, 2010 in a Tyler Hospice. She was born Sept. 17, 1920, in Calamine Ark, to the late Estel and Martha Brown McGinnis. Mrs. Adams was a resident of Rusk for 33 years and formerly lived in Splendora. She was a member of First Assembly of God in Rusk and was a retired garment inspector.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Adams; son, Roy Adams; two brothers; and three sisters.
Survivors include sisters, Idella Maloy of Stuttgart, Ark., Irites Nowlin and Henrietta Morris, both of Brinkley, Ark.; grandchildren, Ramona Stubler of Willis, and Michael Adams of Colorado Springs, Colo.; step-granddaughter, Rose Lynn Keys of Channelview; five great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
