Born February 2, 1923 in Hays Grove, Cumberland County, she was a daughter of the late Ray L. and Reba M. (Brehm) Eyster.
Mrs. Boldosser was a 1941 graduate of Carlisle High School where she had played in the band. She was a 4-H leader for many years and was a 25 year member of T.O.P.S.
Mary was an accomplished seamstress and was well known in the Carlisle area for her draperies, her candy making and her hospitality.
She was a member of the Carlisle Church of Christ where she had taught Sunday School for many years.
She was preceded in death by her brother: Raymond B. Eyster.
Surviving are her husband of 65 years: William H. Boldosser, whom she married February 11, 1942; 3 daughters: Ann Failor and her husband John, of Boiling Springs; Donna Cart and her husband Doug of Rockford, IL and Kathy Eales and her husband Stewart of Arnold, MD; a son: Lee Boldosser of Carlisle and a daughter-in-law Susan of Carlisle; 8 Grandchildren: Scott and Mark Failor, David Boldosser, Carey Cantrall, Courtney Logan, Casey Hinton and William and Timothy Eales and 12 great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday, July 30, 2007 from the Carlisle Church of Christ, 971 Walnut Bottom Road, Carlisle, with her son-in-law Stewart Eales officiating. Private burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery, Shippensburg. Visitation will be at the church on Monday from 5:30-7:00 p.m.
