Lillie Ida Bingaman was born at Lower Machanag, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania, Sept 30, 1874. When one year of age, she with her parents moved to Illinois where they remained until 1883 when they came to Dakota, settling on a farm three miles north of Olivet..


In the year 1898 she was married to John Barth. To this union was born one son and one daughter, Arthur and Dora..


Mrs. Barth has been a faithful member of the Evangelical church since girlhood, being converted at the age of thirteen and remaining faithful until the end..


Mrs. Barth passed to her eternal reward Nov. 23, 1925 at the Sacred Heart Hospital, Yankton, S.D. from injuries received in an automobile accident..


She leaves to mourn her departure, husband, one son, one daughter, three brothers, four sisters and many other relatives and friends..


The dear voice we loved so well, is still,.


She is gone but not forgotten..


Our loss is heaven's gain..


Rev. J.D. Musser preached the funeral sermon Thursday afternoon, Nov. 26..


William Wagner, Warren Wintersteen, Mrs. Pearl Steffen and Mrs. Musser sang and Mrs. Warren Grim acted as pianist..


The pall bearers were Jake Meyers, Albert Gillette, John Boegler, William Wintersteen, Chris Oorlog and Sam Baney. Interment was made at the Wittenberg Evangelical cemetery..
