Allie V. Mabe was born Nov. 6, 1878, and departed this life Dec. 19, 1932, aged 54 years, 1 month and 13 days.
She was united in marriage to E.H. Mabe at the age of 22 years. To this union were born four children, Donald and Hershel of Highlandville and Lennie Smith of Ozark surviving.
She is survived by three brothers, Willie and Fred Maples of Highlandville, and Roy Maples of Oklahoma; two sisters, Laura Lawson and Katie Dunham, both of Oklahoma. Her husband, one daughter, and one brother preceded her in death.
She was a kind and loving mother and loved by all that knew her. She will be sadly missed by her family and many friends.
Funeral services were conducted at the Baptist Church at Highlandville Dec. 20, at 2:30 p.m. by Rev. Ross Carter with burial in Highlandville cemetery under the direction of T.B. Chaffin.
