Born December 12, 1936 in Benkelman, NE, passed away September 1, 2010 in Lakewood, CO. Survived by loving husband Thomas L.Rogers; sons Kevin (Beth) Rogers, Chris (Hanipha) Rogers; daughter Karen (Greg) Cooper; 9 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Jeanne DeWit; brother-in-law William S. Lewis. Preceded in death by brother-in-law Robert E. Rogers and sister-in-law Patricia A. Lewis. Beverly moved to Denver in 1954 to attend Nurses Training at St. Luke's Hospital. She married Thomas September 9, 1956 in Benkelman, NE at St. Joseph Catholic Church. She started working for Dr. Max Weissmann in 1956 as a nurse and worked in that family practice for 31 years, retiring in 1996. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, geneology, rosary making, seamstress and quilter. Winning several awards for her quilts. One of the quilts hung in the governors office at the state capital and another in the Lt.Govenors office. Visitation Tuesday 5-7 P.M., rosary 7 P.M. both at Newcomer West Metro Chapel. Mass of Christian burial Wednesday 10:30 A.M. at Notre Dame Catholic Church 2190 S. Sheridan Blvd., Denver, CO. Burial Ft. Logan Cemetery 12 P.M. Staging area "A". In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Notre Dame Catholic Church Education fund.
