"Mrs. Adah Blair, 91, died Saturday at a St Joseph hospital following a lengthy illness.
A native of Gentry County, Mrs. Blair had resided in the St Joseph area most of her life. A member of the Baptist Church, she was the widow of Hiram R. Blair.
Surviving are a son, Clyde Blair of Rosendale; four daughters, Mrs. Virgil Wallace and Mrs. Harold Townsend, both of St Joseph, Mrs. Stanley Walters of Denver, Colo., and Mrs. Don Hickok of Grenada Hills, Calif.; 14 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.
Services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the Rupp Chapel, the Rev. Eugene Albright officiating. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Public Cemetery." St Joseph News-Press, December 13, 1976
