Eileen Virginia Clark, age 85 formerly of 11014 Kenyon road, died September 17, 2008 at Knox Community Hospital. Eileen was born February 24, 1923 in Knox county to John Leroy and Goldie Dale (Poulton) Daniels and was raised in Wayne township near Fredricktown. Eileen received her training as a registered nurse at White Cross Nursing School in Columbus from 1942-1945. She was employed as a nurse at Mercy Hospital and Martin Memorial Hospital in Mount Ver non, Ohio from 1945-1949 and then attended Asbury College in Kentucky from 1949-1951. She was then employeed as an industrial nurse for the Continental Can Company in Mount Vernon for over 21 years retiring in 1986. She is survived by her sons, Ronald Allen Daniels of Eastlake Ohio, John Charles Clark and David Bruce Clark both of Mount Vernon; two grandchildren, Angelene (Mike) Small and jessica Clark; three grandchildren, Alexander and Amber Small, and Ethan Clark; her sister Dorothy E (Rev. Bob Linter) of Lebanon, a sister-in-law Eleanor Daniels of Mount Vernon. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Leland David Clark and her brother Harold Daniels. burial in Oak Grove Cemetery in Gambier Ohio.

Her brother Harold Dale Daniels was born 11 Nov 1924, and on an interesting note, died on the same day a year prior to Eileen, Sept 17, 2007. He also is buried in Forest Cemetery, Frededicktown Ohio.
