Mr. Burke was preceded in death by his Sister-Doris Jean Cole; Brothers-Albert, Howard, Tommy and Willard Burke; Granddaughter-Emily Burke Anderson.
He was the owner of Collins-Burke Funeral Home, and was in the funeral business for 57 years. He served Walker County as coroner for 16 years. Before entering the funeral business he worked in the coal mines in Calumet.
