Services for Jack Thomas Browning, 30, were officiated by Rev. Albert Jones, the pastor of Central Christian Church. Mr. Browning had been a member of the Central Christian church since his childhood.

Mr. Browning was a graduate of Stamford High School. He attended Texas A&M for three years majoring in Electrical Engineering. Mr. Browning had been working in California where he was attending school.

Survived by his parents; one sister; two brothers.

Jack Browning dies following gunshot wound. The funeral took place at 3:30 Thursday afternoon, Rev. Albert Jones of the Central Christian church, in charge at Kinney’s funeral chapel. Interment at Highland cemetery of Stamford.
Jack Browning was the son of Mr. and Mrs. W.T. Browning, old and respected citizens of Stamford. There are two other sons: Robert Browning of Abilene; Lewis Browning of Canyon. One sister: mrs. Ethel A. Mooney of Dallas.
