BREMOND — Services for Bill D. Vickrey, 92, of Bremond are set for 3 p.m. Sunday at the First Baptist Church in Bremond.

The Rev. Stan Ortner will officiate. Burial will be in Bremond Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Peiskee Funeral Home in Bremond.

Mr. Vickrey died Friday in Falls Community Hospital.

He was born in Kosse, Texas, and was retired from Exxon in Baytown, Texas, in 1970. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was a member of the Bremond Masonic Lodge No. 350 and was a member and past worshipful master of the Goose Creek Lodge in Baytown. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bremond, where he was a deacon and financial secretary.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia Vickrey of Bremond; a sister and brother-in-law, Frances and Lewis Irons of Baytown; and a sister-in-law, Cecil Allen of Bremond.
