Adeline York Thompson is the daughter of Joseph Bowens York and his wife Mary S. Arnold/Arrendale York. Adeline was born about 1863 in Persimmon, Rabun County, Georgia. She married Sidney Elcaney Thompson (also of Persimmon) and they moved to Marble, Cherokee County, North Carolina between 1911-1920. Adeline died before the 1920 census. I believe it was around 1912.
