Ramona was born December 22, 1923, to George Wm Mulligan and Frances P (Wagner) Mulligan. She was the 5th of 6 children. Ramona was her parent's Christmas gift, that year.

Ramona's 4 brothers are,
George Rodrick "Rod" Mulligan, born 1915,
Thomas Joseph Mulligan born 1920,
James Rollins Mulligan born 1922, and
Anthony "Tony" Virgil Mulligan born 1927.

Her sister is,
Rachel Frances (Mulligan) Stanfield, born 1917,


After WWII began, Ramona enlisted in the US Navy. While serving her country, the Navy doctors discovered that she had leakage of the heart.

Ramona married James Robert Brand. They had 1 son William R. Brand and 1 daughter, Judith R. (Brand) Dedrick.

Ramona's continuing heart trouble plagued her all of her life. Ramona passed away February 17, 1974, at the age of 51.

She was much loved by her friends and family. Ramona is dearly missed.
