CARLIN, Nev. - Cyril O. Johnson, 56, formerly Ogden, died this morning in Carlin [*Elko, Nevada].
Mr. Johnson had been employed at the Southern Pacific Shops in Carlin for the past six years. Prior to that time he worked at the Ogden shops. He was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd.
He was born Dec. 1 [Headstone: 2], 1900, in London, England, a son of Cyril W. and Caroline Fletcher Johnson. He came to Ogden in 1914. On Aug. 15, 1936, he married Kathryn Price.
Surviving are his widow, one son and daughter, Sterling Johnson and Miss Connie Johnson, all of Carlin; one brother and two sisters, Frank R. Johnson, Yakima, Wash.; Mrs. David G. (Bessie) Taylor, Mrs. Walter P. (Emily) Moulton, Ogden.
Graveside services will be conducted Saturday at 3 p.m. in Ogden City cemetery by Rev. Joseph E. MacGinnis. Friends may call at Lindquist and Sons Colonial Funeral Chapel Saturday from 10 a.m. until 2:45 p.m.
