BOSSIER CITY, LA - A graveside service for Bobbie L. Andrew will be at 1 p.m. Friday, September 3, 2010 at the Northwest LA Veterans Cemetery in Keithville, LA with USAF honors. Officiating will be Father Rigoberto Betancurt. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday, September 2, 2010 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Bossier City, LA.

Bobbie was born September 13, 1938 in Alpena, AR to Bob and Helen Plumlee Andrew and died August 31, 2010 in Bossier City, LA. He proudly served his country for 24 years in the United States Air Force and retired as a Chief Master Sergeant, was a marketing and product liability manager for Poulan Weed Eater, an avid golfer, musician and a member of Christ the King Catholic Church.

Grandsons, Noah and Lake Andrew preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Julie Andrew of Bossier City, LA and children, Glen Andrew, wife Brenda and their sons, Carson and Chapman of Birmingham, AL, Lacretia Straughan, husband Richard and their sons, Ryan, Kyle and Cody of Bossier City, LA, Robert Andrew, wife Charlene and their son, Jackson and daughter, Alex of Shreveport, LA, Leigh Harris and husband Larry of Weatherford, TX and brother, Freddie Andrew of Fresno, CA.

The family requests memorials to the Alzheimer's Association , 3717 Government St, Suite 7, Alexandria, LA 71302.
