Benjamin Cecil Nicholson, 90, Nokesville, died Thursday, Aug. 9, 2001, at Culpeper Regional Hospital.
Mr. Nicholson was born July 23, 1911, in Virginia, and was a son of the late Benjamin R. and Mamie Nicholson.
He was a farmer and carpenter most of his life.
Surviving are four sons, Ben Nicholson, Kenbridge, Charles Nicholson, Dameron, Md., Edward Nicholson, Manassas, and Roy R. Nicholson, Nokesville; a daughter, Joyce Ferris of Bryce; two brothers, Early Nicholson, Nokesville, and Charles Nicholson, Blue Ridge; a sister, Della Embrey, Catlett; 13 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
The Rev. William Day will conduct the funeral at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton. Burial will be at the Catlett Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
