A student at West Valley College in San Jose, California, Ms. Miller was studying nutrition and physical therapy. The 21-year old also taught weight training to IBM employees, worked as a waitress and did promotions for a beverage distributor. She was survived by her mother Cathy Stefani; stepfather Wayne Stefani; father David Miller; stepmother Catherine Miller; sister Tiffney Miller; half-sister Danielle Miller; and half-brothers Wayne Stefani, Jr. and David Miller, Jr. She was returning from a vacation in New York and New Jersey.
