COLCHESTER - Elsie Bennion, 96, died Monday, Aug. 30, 2010 in Green Mountain Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Alan G. Bennion.
Born Feb. 4, 1914 in Attleboro, Mass., she was a daughter of the late Stewart and Clara (Hathaway) Rhodes, Jr.
She is survived by a son, David Alan Bennion of Vt. and his partner, Pam Greene; a son-in-law, Burt Cole of Easton, Mass.; three grandchildren and their spouses, Alan G. Bennion II and his wife, Christina, Donna Bennion and her husband, Gerald Domina, and Stacy Hubbell and her husband, Travis, all of Vt.; and seven great- grandchildren, Sequoia Hawkins, Alan G. Bennion III, Moriah Kae Bennion, Gerald Domina, Dominic Domina, T.J Hubbell and Gabriel Hubbell all of Vt.
She was the mother of the late Priscilla Ann Cole; and sister of the late Marion Moehle, Ruth Frauenberger and Marjorie Harnish.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, Sept. 3 from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove Street, North Attleboro. A funeral will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, Sept. 4 at 11 a.m. followed by burial in Timothy Plain Cemetery, Norton.
