Cynthia Margaret (Daugherty) Rison, 57, of Spokane, Wash., died March 26, 2010.

She was born Aug. 28, 1952, in Greenfield, the daughter of Archie "Ed" and Nancy (Mercer) Daugherty.

Cindy graduated from McClain High School in 1970. She then served in the U.S. Air Force for 11 years as an X-ray technician, and later worked for 22 dedicated years as an X-ray technician at Eastern State Hospital. She enjoyed bowling, cooking, gardening, and racing her 4x4 Jeep off road.

She is survived by her husband, Leonard Rison Jr.; her mother, Nancy Daugherty of Greenfield; her daughter, Jennifer M. (Rob) Gaylord of Spokane; grandchildren, Tyler R. James, Kaylee M. James and Madison E. Gaylord; and her brother, Sam Daugherty of Big Rapids, Mich.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her young son, Edward DeMario.

A family gathering for the interment of her cremains will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 24, at the Greenfield Cemetery. The Rev. James A. Groves will officiate.

The Anderson-Strueve Funeral Home, Greenfield, is serving the family.
