Barbara Jean Wagner Ijames, 69, of Mocksville died Saturday April 3, 2010 at Rowan Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Rowan County on April 25, 1940 daughter of the late James S. Bud and Stella Blanch Wofford Wagner and she attended Victory Baptist Church.
A Graveside service was held at 1:00 pm Monday, April 5, 2010 at Legion Memorial Park with the Rev. Shelby Harbour officiating. The family received friends from 11:30 to 12:30 pm Monday at Davie Funeral Service.
Survivors including her husband of 53 years, Thomas Ijames, four sons, John Ijames of Mocksville, Keith Ijames (Lisa) of Rockwell, Randy Ijames of Mocksville and Dale Ijames (Kelly) of Landis, two sisters, Geraldine Hendrix of Mocksville, and Mae Bailey of Omaha, NE, eight grandchildren, Robbie Ijames, David Ijames, Anthony Ijames, Tiffany Ijames, Josh Ijames, Ben Ijames, Katie Ijames and Joey Ijames, one great grandchild, Kayden Cleary all of Mocksville and also several nieces and nephews.
Barbara was preceded in death by sisters and brothers, Ruby James, Helen Ratledge, Dorothy McDaniel, James, Buddy, George and Pete Wagner.
