Funeral services for two of the five area residents killed in a two-car collision Sunday in Elkland Township were scheduled yesterday (Wednesday) from the Huston Funeral Home, Caro.
Services for Harry S. Avery, 73, were planned for 1:30 pm with Rev. Alex Holmes officiating and burial in the Caro Cemetery.
Mr. Avery was born Nov. 5, 1895 in Tuscola County and was a retired radio serviceman and a member of American Legion Post # 7 of Caro. He married Ina Metcalf at Caro on July 14, 1917. She predeceased him on June 18, 1965.
Surviving is a son, Richard of Caro; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
