Alvin Garfield Baumeister, who died January 18 in Mcinville, was shipped to Walla Walla, Wash., for funeral services and burial. He was born January 23, 1883, in Walla Walla, Wash., and married Mayme O'Reilly in 1923. Baumeister had been a resident of Depoe Bay for the past six years and prior to that time had lived at Walla Wala and Pendleton. He was a member of the Mason lodge, 32nd Degree and Scottish Rite and Episcopal church.

Baumeister is survived by his wife, three brothers, Max E. Baumeister, Walla Walla, Col. K.E. Baumeister, Alabama and Commander W.W. Baumeister, California.
