Services were held at the Palmer Methodist church for Robert Adams, 56, a one-time Palmerite, who died August 26th in a Hastings hospital after a long illness. Last rites were held Wednesday, August 30, at 2:00 with Len Ricky officiating...
Mr. Adams was born July 18, 1911 in Palmer to Elizabeth and Howard Adams. He grew to manhood in Palmer and attended the Palmer school.
He left Palmer in 1942 and moved to Grand Island where he operated an elevator in the Yancey Hotel for several years. He later moved to Hastings where he spent the remainder of his life.
He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Dorothy Lawrence of Milwaukee, Wis. 2 brothers, Donald of Hastings and Bill of Sacramento, Calif.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
