BERANEK, HAZEL KING, 91, of Tampa, died Tuesday (April 11, 2006) at St. Joseph's Hospital. She was born in Arcadia and moved to Tampa and graduated from Hillsborough High School. She was assistant chef at the University Club for many years. She was a charter member of Christ the King Catholic Church, Circle 4, and a volunteer for many years in the gift shop at St. Joseph's Hospital. She was a creative cook and seamstress. Survivors include her daughter, Joan Rodriguez; a son, John; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Gonzalez Funeral Home, Tampa.
