Sgt. Jason D. Calo, 23, of Lexington, Ky., died Aug. 22 while supporting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, N.C. Jason is survived by his loving wife Sarah, children Allison and Achilles, mother Jeri Manville, stepfather Thomas Manville, brothers Adam and Justin Calo, maternal grandparents John and Julie Lemcool and a niece Chloe.
