OSCAR ALEXANDER
Mountain Springs - Services for Oscar Alexander, 86, of Mountain Springs, who died Sunday at the Sundial Nursing Home in Pilot Point, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Milton Pledger officiating. Burial is to follow in New Hope cemetery.
He was born in Cooke county on Sept. 1, 1896, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank P. Alexander. He married Pearl Massey, who preceded him in death in November 1871. A son, Alton Alexander, also preceded him in death.
Survivors include four daughters, Lorene Hite of Collinsville, Gertrude Smith of Los Banos, Calif., Ozelle Holly of Pilot Point, and Norma Popejoy of Gainesville; 20 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; three great-great-
grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Bearers are Bobby Cloer, Kenneth Alexander, Gary Holly, Billy Smith, Dennis Popejoy and Alvin Ray Henry.
