--Florence married Joseph C. "Jocie" Barefoot in Mecklenburg County on Oct. 16, 1915. They had 6 sons, one of whom apparently died very young. The surviving 5: Joe Wilson, Robert Foch, Jack Vernon, George Benni, and Samuel David Barefoot.
