Cyril (Staff) -- John Everett Jackson, 57, a resident of Cyril[, Oklahoma] for 17 years, died about 9 pm [on] Sunday [15 Jul 1962] at Canadian, Tex[as], following a brief illness.
Services will be at 3 pm [on] Wednesday [18 Jul 1962] at the Cyril[, Oklahoma] First Baptist Church with Rev. John Meador, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in [the] Fletcher Cemetery under [the] direction of Dalton Funeral Home.
Mr. Jackson was born [on] Sept[ember] 4, 1904 in Collinsville[, Oklahoma]. He moved to Cyril[, Oklahoma] in 1945. On Aug[ust] 28, 1949, he married Dora Polston at Henrietta, Tex[as]. He was a member of the First Baptist Church [of] Collinsville[, Oklahoma].
Survivors include his wife; a son: Mickey [Jackson] [of the home]; and a step-son: Ronny Polston...[of the home]; and his mother: Mrs. E. N. Jackson [of] Collinsville[, Oklahoma].
